For the Laudes Foundation, together with Marten Boekelo, I facilitate a Community of Practice of organizations advocating for a more ambitious and fair decarbonization of the built environment. The network brings together a wide range of expertise: from community coalition building and engaging industrial frontrunners, to emission accounting systems and policy development in European policy arenas.
The mission of this community is to learn together, form stronger coalitions, speak with greater authority, and thus have more impact on the transition of the built environment. The core challenge is to inextricably link justice and decarbonization, so that climate ambitions go hand in hand with social inclusion.
In my role, I guide this learning network by designing and facilitating learning processes, knowledge exchange, and collective reflection. I support sessions and programs in which members share experiences, develop joint strategies, and strengthen their collective voice towards industry, governments, and investors. In this way, I help the community not only to learn, but also to effectively exert influence and accelerate systemic change.
