As part of IVN’s Nature Stories series, I organize the Children’s Witch Circles, unique nature experiences for children right in the heart of nature. In these magical gatherings, children are invited to open their imagination, sense of wonder, and senses as they listen to nature stories and experience how nature lives and changes with each season. The Children’s Witch Circles combine stories, rituals, and play to let children feel, taste, and discover what makes our natural environment meaningful.
During these sessions, a circle of shared learning and experience is created: children sit in a natural setting, listen to stories, explore rituals around the four elements, and engage in creative activities such as crafting symbols from nature. Through rituals, stories, and play, children connect with nature and with their own imagination — which contributes to their relational and ecological awareness.
With the Children's Witch Circles, I build bridges between nature education, creativity, and sensory experience, so that children not only learn about nature, but also deeply experience and appreciate it.
