Renovation flows 

Verbouwstromen is a large-scale program that accelerates the sustainability of the existing housing stock in the Netherlands by developing scalable and predictable renovation flows. Together with municipalities, housing associations, market parties, and knowledge institutions, the pace and volume of housing renovations are increased to make the climate goals for 2030 and 2050 achievable.

In my role as a transition expert and knowledge and learning process designer, I supported the program management at Verbouwstromen during the first four years and focused on designing learning processes that stimulate collaboration and continuous improvement both internally and externally. For example, I developed the Verbouwstromen Academy and designed sessions that enable parties to share their experiences, learn together, and optimize the approach to renovation flows. Additionally, I am responsible for the Impact Builders (learning) network of Verbouwstromen.

By connecting knowledge and insights from practice with strategy and policy, I ensure that complex transition insights are translated into concrete actions and tools. My work strengthens the capacity of municipalities and market parties to learn effectively, collaborate, and accelerate the sustainability of the built environment in a systemic and dynamic context.
